Hey Guys!
What better way to start off my workout series than sharing with you my favourite Glute workouts for a noticablely, rounder tush! Did you know? Your glutes are the biggest muscle in your body. Having strong glutes improves posture, helps balance your body, and looks great! These are exercises you can try at the gym or at home.
Do 3 Set of 15 Reps for each exercise, keep your heart rate up (take 20-30 second breaks between each set) and make sure you exhale at the top of the movement.
Curtsy Lunge
I’ve recently incorporated the Curtsy lunge into my leg workout. This exercise works your outer glute (gluteus medius). Start with feet on the ground hip distance apart. Move one leg behind the other and come back to starting position.
Split Squat
Squats
Everybody’s favourite glute exercise. Start with your feet flat on the floor and hip distance apart. Bring your glutes down as if you’re sitting on a chair. Keep your back straight and your shoulders back. As you come up, push from your heels, and squeeze your glutes at the top. Modification: If you notice your knees are going past your toes or you are falling over then place 2.5 pound plates under your heels to help keep your balance.
What’s the green band you ask? Those are resistance bands for extra booty incorporation! I’ll create a blog post dedicated to it 😉
